About Me

Welcome to Cooking with Kale! I'm Kayleigh, having lived in both Philadelphia and New York City I've been exposed to the greatest culinary delights. I'm an Architectural Engineer by day, and a cook by night. 

Whether I'm out in the city picking up delicious ingredients from my favorite specialty foods store, slicing and dicing in my Hoboken kitchen, or dining at the most fabulous restaurants, food is a part of everything that I do. This blog is an extension of my love of cooking. 

My culinary style is influenced by so many things. I grew up in a very traditional American home, where dinner was on the table every night by 6pm. After branching out on my own, I discovered that I enjoyed so many different kinds of cuisine. Whether it be a late night stop for mojitos & tuna tartare tacos, or croque madame for brunch. I love it all. 

My recipes range from the perfect breakfast of Warm Apple Cinnamon French Toast, to the perfect lunch by the beach (Avocado Caprese), to a stunning dinner of Lamb with Pear Compote & Parsnip Puree. You'll find a little bit of everything at Cooking with Kale. Enjoy!
